Introduction

Dear Patients,

Due to the escalating epidemic situation, our duties are significantly increasing by the day. Therefore, we intend to notify you of the following.

We still receive patients with an acute disease in opening hours. Symptoms of an acute  condition may be:

  • Severe chest or abdominal pain,
  • Severe breathing difficulties, shortness of breath,
  • Jaundice (yellowish pigmentation),
  • Bleeding,
  • Sudden hemiparesis or hemiplegia (paralysis of or loss of sensation in half of the body), speech impediments, swelling impediments, vision impediments,
  • Sudden pain, swelling of limbs,
  • Pain, stiffness in the back of the neck (nape),
  • Sudden, severe (overwhelming) headache with possible projectile vomiting, disturbances in the nervous system,
  • Cramp attack, seizure,
  • Unmanageable high fever.

We advise you to call the Emergency Service (tel.: 112 or 104) with these acute symptoms outside opening hours.

If there is no immediate emergency, then visit the Ambulatory Emergency Clinic (Pécs, Ifjúság str. 13).

If you injure in an accident, then visit the Ambulatory Emergency Clinic.

We cannot receive patients with fever or respiratory symptoms. If you have these symptoms, e-mail or call us. We will answer all your questions and advise you on the steps to take.

Unfortunately, we have long waitlists for patients with chronic conditions, mild symptoms, driving licence check-ups, and medical certificates.

We can still issue e-prescriptions online for patients with Hungarian social security numbers.

Please ask for referrals well in advance, because it may take a few days to issue those. We cannot give e-referrals yet.

We cannot register new patients during the epidemic.

Our appointment making system is out of order during the epidemic, so e-mail or call us in advance to make an appointment.

You can only enter the buildings with a facemask that covers your nose and mouth. Please report to the reception desk upon arrival.

Maintain a distance of 1.5 metres protective distance from others in the waiting rooms. We will take your temperature before you can enter the building, and you are required to fill in an epidemic checklist form.

Our primary contact is e-mail: haziorvos@pte.hu. We will reply to everyone. If we receive your e-mail during opening hours, we will reply to you on that working day. If we receive your e-mail outside office hours, we will contact you during the next office hours.

Our phone number: 06-30-8673315.

Opening hours: weekdays 8:00 am -12:00 pm

We appreciate your comprehension and thank you for your patience.
