State awards and prestigious recognitions were presented at the state celebrations of the August 20 national holiday. Prof. Tamás Dóczi, professor at the University of Pécs Medical School, Department of Neurosurgery, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences was presented with a high state award, the Hungarian Order of the Mid Cross, civilian division. The award is given to personalities who are credited with a unique achievement and an utmost dedication to their profession.
